About System Image
Creating a simple batch file to backup files or folders is a cool way to move, copy, and backup any file you like. A batch file is a text file saved as a.bat extension and when doubled clicked on it will execute the dos commands contained in that file. In this article I will be using the xcopy command and the robocopy command to create a batch. I need to schedule a task in Windows Server 2003 that executes this script that deletes files older that n days in the specified folder. Generally speaking, system image is an exact copy of drives required for Windows to run,containing operating system, hardware drivers, applications you have installed, settings,preferences, etc. typically the C drive (System), EFI System Partition, or RecoveryPartition, etc. Sometimes it also include additional drives. You could restore your computer with the system image without reinstallingeverything if the hard drive or computer stop working. However, you could not restore theindividual items from the system image.
Create System Image with Backup Utility
